TEAM: 12U Sundodgers - Barokas

My name is Carla Barokas. I am a life-long lover of the sport of softball. I began my coaching experience with Little League in 2006 and continued through the program coaching and serving on the board as the softball commissioner for Mercer Island. I led my daughters through their softball journeys to club programs, one of them up to the 18Gold level.  I have traveled the country watching them compete, train and workout with the best in the sport. I led  my oldest daughter through the college recruitment process and throughout these experiences, every step of the way, I have enjoyed being an engaged student of the game.

This will be my third year as a head coach of a 12U club team. I joined the Sundodgers organization last year because I believe in their high-quality training, their commitment to the development of every player and their focus on providing a positive atmosphere where each person has the opportunity to grow into a confident, well-skilled player. 

 

In addition to coaching club teams, I have been a coach in the Mercer Island high school fastpitch program for the past five years. My coaching philosophy is to create an environment where our players enjoy the experience, develop their skill set and emerge stronger players ready for the next level.

DETAILS

Tourneys: 9 tourneys 
Practice: 2x/week practice. (1-week day, 1 weekend) Weekend practice outside weather permitting.
Open Facility: M-Th 2:45-4:45 in any SU facility (Holiday Schedules can change)
Instruction: Professional instruction from Softball U 1x/wk OCT-FEB
Roster Sizes: 13 Players

Aug: $600 Down payment securing your spot
8 Monthly Payments: $336.10
*Does not include uniforms, or personal travel 

 

UNIFORMS 

Players will need to NAVY, WHITE & GOLD uniform items. All uniforms and fan gear will be purchased online through BSN. We will set up times for players to come try on the sizing kit. Uniform costs are separate from team fees.

 

TRAVEL

Our travel tournaments will be Washington based such as Wenatchee and Yakima areas. With the exception of one tourney in Oregon or California for nationals.
